Nngh.

That was not a fun el-oh-el.

At first, I was unable to communicate with others, either through virtue of the translation effect malfunctioning, or.. I do not know. I was speaking nonsense either way. I could understand others, but I could not make them understand me verbally no matter how I tried.

Apparently, something was firing from brain to mouth correctly, as I was speaking words with the correct letters, just in the completely and utterly wrong order, in the letters' cases.

Anagrams.

The latter half of it was even less fun. My memories of it are still somewhat fuzzy, starting from a few hours before I changed.

I am not entirely sure what I was, except on top of the fact that I could no longer speak coherently at all, I could not think straight.

Such a concept disturbs me greatly and utterly, my mind wasn't my own, but at the same time it was a mere shadow of what it was.

Most of the events that happened while I was transformed are.. half formed memories.

The el-oh-el transmits itself like a virus. I have been cured thanks to the Doctor and as far as I can tell I am no longer capable of infecting others.

Also, if anyone sees Metody before I do, let me know he is okay? I.. don't remember seeing him except sometime before I changed.

He'll be terribly embarassed if he remembers eating bone in front of her. He's making good progress through the bone, eating every particle of it, chewing frantically - and there is likely more of it than he should be able to contain.

Given what she knows about Metody and his ability to manipulate bone, this doesn't surprise her as much as one would think, she watches him thoughtfully, though.

And that's about when Ding notices their guest, and unlike Bella, he has no idea who or even what this new little creature is. Ding peeeers from the workbench and makes a sort of curious ticking-clicking noise.

He stretches and yawns hugely, and little flats of bone extrude through his skin. For a moment, he looks like a stegosaurus-lemur, mightiest of the prehistoric lemurs! Then they flatten down, forming armor over his spine and the top of his head.

He leaps to the floor, dropping the steak, and sniffs curiously at Ding.

Huh, interesting. He adapted and absorbed the bone as plates. She finds this fascinating--and even if he doesn't remember this, she will. And much to his dismay, she may end up asking about it. Bella lunges forward and catches the steak with her mechanical hand, moving to dispose of it while Metody is distracted by Ding.

Ding blinks at Metody with a quiet little clink. DING? He almost asks, curious.

He sniffs at Ding again, then leaps, aiming to land on top of him.

And he squeals, loudly and piercingly. "Yeeek!"

Ding makes a surprised series of mechanical sounds and ends up flailing a whole lot. Given the number of legs plus the two arms, this is a whole lotta flailin'.

Bella comes back to this, blinking, "Ack! What the hell?"

And Metody goes flailing as well, desperately scrabbling to keep to his feet, tail flipping back and forth.
